The International Cultural Association (Location: Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo, Chairman: Akemi Shimomura) held 『the 62nd Miss International Beauty Pageant 2024』 on the 12th of November, 2024 at Tokyo Dome City Hall. Among the "Ambassadors of Beauty and Peace" from 71 countries and regions from all over the world, Ms. Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy representing VIETNAM got the crown of the Miss International 2024.

“The Miss International Beauty Pageant” (hereinafter referred to as "Miss International") is known as one of the world's three biggest beauty pageants, along with Miss World and Miss Universe. It was established in the United States in 1960. This year, the 62nd Miss International Beauty Pageant was held here in Japan.
The "Ambassadors of Beauty and Peace" came to Japan not only for competing their outward beauty, but also for achieving the world peace through international interaction, friendship, and social contributions. Their backgrounds are various such as pilot trainees, designers, diplomats, and doctors. These "Ambassadors of Beauty and Peace" came together at one place representing 71 countries and regions. 71 representatives from each country and region competed for the title of “Miss International 2024” through a wide range of selections. It was including national costume, evening dress, swimsuit, and speech.
Ms. Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy, who won the crow of the queen, is from VIETNAM and she is University Student/Model/Brand Ambassador. Her sparkling smile, graceful presence, and elegant behavior caught people’s heart, and got high praises from the judges.
In addition to the 2nd to 5th place winners, the winners of the 4 Continental Queens (Asia Pacific / Africa / America / Europe) and the Special Award (Best National Costume / Best in Evening Gown / Miss Fitness / Miss Photogenic) were also selected.

【About “Miss International”】
Miss International was established in the United States in 1960 under the official name of the “Miss International Beauty Pageant”. For the first seven years, it was held in the United States. The hosting rights were transferred to Japan in commemoration of the Japan World Exposition, which was held in Osaka in 1970. The goal of Miss International is not only to compete the external beauty, but also to realize world peace by promoting mutual understanding among countries through international interaction, friendship and social contributions in the host country.
We also hope that the actions of the women who have challenged the global competition will lead to their own growth and the courage and challenges of women in the whole world. Through this pageant, we wish to realize "CHEER ALL WOMEN".
The representatives from all over the world gather at one place as "Ambassadors of Beauty and Peace." This pageant is held every year with the aim of sending out a "Prayer for Peace" to the world and promoting the attraction of Japan, the host country. In addition, through the Miss International, the delegates have been engaged in international interaction activities at various levels.
Through social contribution activities such as “the Tree-Planting Campaign”, “the Miss International Forum”, and charity events, we are deepening friendship and goodwill between Japan and the world.
